The operation of your betting account is subject to the rules and conditions. You will be required to acknowledge and accept these when applying for an account. By placing a bet with AusTOTE you represent to AusTOTE that such activity is lawful under the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are a resident. After AusTOTE receives an application correspondence will be sent setting out account details, banking arrangements, activation requirements and for those who will be betting through the internet, arrangements for downloading the betting module. Those who have provided a valid email address will receive an electronic advice that will also include a randomly generated password with an encouragement to choose an alternative password at an early opportunity. Those who apply by mail will be asked to contact the AusTOTE office to arrange a unique password. Activation of an account will occur once a properly completed application form is received. Withdrawals however cannot take place until AusTOTE receives a completed Personal Identification Form. Before you start betting Once you start betting you are deemed to have read this section. 1 Ensure that you have read and understand the rules and conditions of use. 2 Deposit funds options include mailing a cheque (proceeds not available until cleared) depositing direct to the AusTOTE bank account (quoting your account number) at any branch of the Westpac Bank in Australia, or via Internet banking facilities through your financial institution use the BPay scheme (send AusTOTE an email to get details) 3 You can withdraw funds simply by phoning or emailing the office. Funds may be sent by crossed cheque or deposited direct to a nominated bank account. You will need to contact the AusTOTE office before your first withdrawal to register your account details. REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST COMPLETE IDENTIFICATION FORMALITIES BEFORE A WITHDRAWAL WILL BE ALLOWED. There are no cash withdrawal facilities. 4 Current and previous days account details are available immediately through your betting module.
